The ‘Ask Fellow’ feature acts like a meeting search engine. You can ask it questions about past meetings, get instant summaries, or draft quick follow-up emails, without any manual effort.

If keeping your CRM up-to-date feels like a chore, Fellow has your back. It pulls relevant details from your meetings and suggests updates to your CRM fields automatically. For example, it can pull details from a sales meeting and suggest updates to your CRM fields. You can skip the hassle of manual data entry and stay organized.

4. Pre-meeting prep tools

Fellow makes it easy to walk into every meeting with a plan. You can create shared agendas, add talking points, and prep collaboratively with your team. When you’ve got back-to-back meetings lined up, meeting agendas ensure nothing important falls through the cracks.

5. Centralized meeting hub

Instead of scattered recordings and notes across tools, Fellow keeps everything in one place. This centralized hub ensures that all stakeholders have access to meeting content, even if they couldn't attend. You also get full control over who can view or share meeting content—the perfect balance between easy access and tight security.

Fellow makes it easier to stay focused during meetings by handling notes, capturing action items, and helping teams prepare with shared agendas. Features like ‘Ask Fellow’ also make it simple to pull insights or follow up after meetings without much manual effort.

But while it’s strong on organization, the not-so-precise action items left me disappointed. Without clear reminders or tracking, important tasks can easily get buried. It could lead to follow-up gaps if you’re not keeping a close eye.

Fellow App Interface: Is It Easy to Use? 

Fellow’s interface is clean, intuitive, and refreshingly easy to navigate, even if you’re brand new to the platform. There’s almost no learning curve, and everything feels well-organized without unnecessary clutter. Personally, I was excited to see how minimalistic and distraction-free the layout is.

But design preferences are subjective. A few users mentioned on G2 that they would like to see more color options or customization in the interface.

Popular security review websites such as UpGuard have described Fellow as a safe and secure tool, giving it a score of 873/950 and an A rating. 

Fellow puts a strong emphasis on protecting user data. It’s fully compliant with SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA standards, ensuring it meets some of the most rigorous security and privacy requirements. 

All information is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and the platform enforces strict access controls to minimize risk and prevent unauthorized access.

While the tool promises enterprise-grade security, a recent analysis by UpGuard uncovered a few security concerns. Specifically, its Content Security Policy (CSP) was found to be implemented unsafely, allowing 'unsafe-inline' scripts without a nonce or hash. It can potentially increase the risk of cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

One of Fellow’s biggest strengths is how easily it plugs into the tools you’re already using. Whether it’s your CRM, project management board, or video calls, Fellow makes sure your meetings stay connected to the bigger picture.

While Fellow covers the core platforms well, competitors like Notta and Fireflies offer broader integration options.

Notta, for instance, extends video conferencing support to Webex, while Fireflies goes even further by adding integrations with Skype, DialPad, GoToMeeting, and Lifesize.

When it comes to CRM integrations, Notta goes beyond Salesforce and HubSpot to include Pipedrive, Freshsales, Salesflare, Zendesk Sell, and Zoho CRM. Fireflies, meanwhile, offers the most extensive CRM coverage, supporting platforms like Microsoft Dynamics 365, Attio, Close, and Copper.

But the free version could have been better—5 meetings may not be enough to make a decision about the tool. 

But for larger organizations that require deeper integrations across a wider range of CRMs, project management tools, or more flexible customization at scale, Fellow may feel a bit limited.
